Parents
Thank you very much for your interest in our incredible day
care/pre-school. At Arlington Children’s Center we have
created a safe environment of care, love, support, and respect for
our children ages infant through five. Our center is open Monday
through Friday from 7 A.M. until 6 P.M. year around.
Arlington Children’s Center is a unique day care center and
preschool serving Arlington County government employees and the
general public.
We offer a rich and balanced program. Our curriculum is carefully
planned, creative, and filled with variety, designed to teach the
children about themselves, their school, and the world at their
level.
Our day is filled with play and learning in all areas of the arts
and education, thus preparing your child for kindergarten.
Your child will be taken care of by our professional, dedicated and
responsible staff.
Our carefully designed day care center looks like a fairy castle.
Your child will flourish socially, emotionally, and intellectually
in this beautiful, cheerful space.
Each colorful, cozy classroom is filled with light from large
windows to the outdoors, supporting and encouraging children’s
growth and well-being.

We have three large age-appropriate outdoor playgrounds - the
Infants crawling playground, the Toddlers play area, and a
playground for the older children with a bike run. Our playgrounds
are tree-shaded and accessible from the classrooms. They are safely
fenced and the children look forward to their twice a day outdoor
playtime.
We provide wholesome, nutritious snacks and meals including:
breakfast, A.M. snack, a healthy variety of hot lunches, and P.M.
snack. Meals are included in the tuition and meet federal and state
requirements and guidelines established by USDA.
