As a result of the novel Coronavirus/Covid-19 pandemic, Arlington Children’s Center understands that you may have concerns regarding the health of your child(ren) and family. The Covid-19 has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization. ACC is extremely cautious following guidelines set by CDC The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS)-Child Care Program and Virginia Department of Health - Child Care Program, (go to Procedures). A strict protocol has been implemented to reduce the spread of Covid-19 on its premises to ensure that you and/or your child(ren) and our staff's exposure is limited.

Arlington Children's Center - Educational daycare center, preschool, and childcare center providing quality care for over 30 years to Arlington County employees and county residents. Located in the Courthouse / Lee Highway area of Arlington County, Virginia.

At Arlington Children’s Center, we have created a safe environment of care, love, support, and respect. Our curriculum is carefully planned, creative, and filled with a variety of themes. The program is designed to teach the children about themselves, their school, and the world at their level.

Our teachers promote social development by helping the children to get along with each other, teaching them mutual respect, appreciating cultural and ethnic diversity, and encouraging children to work independently.
Special Programs & Extracurricular Activities

Creative Activities
Daily activities are designed for children to learn art, music, crafts, language arts, math, reading, writing, science, social skills, and fine and gross motor skills. We provide an environment that helps children to be creative in solving problems, redefining situations, demonstrating flexibility and being adventurous.

Our Extracurricular Programs
SPANISH classes - children learn through songs, music, games, stories, and projects. BALLET / DANCE classes - children achieve numerous benefits from dance, poise, grace, balance, flexibility, strength, coordination, confidence, and awareness of rhythm and music. Performing Arts Class - children are introduced to the theater with creative games, storytelling, pantomime, puppetry, and acting.

Outdoor Activities
Each morning and afternoon, if weather permits, the children will be at the playground.

Is posted at the classroom entrance to keep you informed of your child’s daily activities

Fun Projects
We encourage the children to explore and create educational projects using a variety of art media, teaching individual creativity.

Summer Camp
Summer is fun. Our marvelous summer camp program includes daily themes such as veggies and fruits' day, jewelry making day, kite flying day, cooking day, weaving day, etc. Water play, field trip, wall climbing, fun-tastic fitness program and playground activities allow children to enjoy the outdoors.

Meals and Snacks
We provide wholesome nutritious A.M. snack and P.M. snack with fruits, juice, milk, and water. Meals are included in the tuition and meet federal and state requirements and guidelines established by the USDA.
Waiting list
If space is not currently available for the program of your choice, an online form submission will put you on our waitlist. The children of Arlington County employees have a first right to be admitted to the center.
Second child discount 10%
Tuition for Arlington County Employees - 25% off regular prices.

All tuition payments are due in advance; Monday before 12:00 noon. There is a late fee charge of $10.00 per day for payments made after 12:00 noon on Monday. Cash and credit card payments are not accepted. Only checks or money orders. Returned Check fee $50.00, The Center reserves the right to adjust tuition at any time.
There is an additional fee for summer camp and extracurricular activities.
